Snowing hard in North Bend
Sure glad I’m able to stay home and work today. It’s snowing hard now and we already have about six inches on the ground. Should be a fun day for the kids. They headed out first thing after breakfast.

Getting Focused
It seems after careful observation of my own behavior that I need about 20 minutes to settle down, fiddling on my computer, checking Facebook etc., before I can really start to focus on the task at hand. Then I can remain focused for a good two hours before I need a break. BUT, if I get interrupted during that two hours then I need another 20 minutes of time to settle down again and get...

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of these as well as the complete game catalog on CD. I transferred all the audio files to my iPhone and then loaded the games into the Atari 2600 via the iPhone. Sweet geeky nerdiness it worked!

SSL Certificate Renewal
Ugh. Just spent the last two hours renewing the SSL certificate for NextComp. I researched a few different vendors and looked at a wildcard certificate (Ouch $700 for one of those). Ended up staying with current vendor and same, although even stronger, type of certificate. This feels like a chore every year. I wish this could be simplified some how but I guess it’s as easy as it can...
