Getting Focused
It seems after careful observation of my own behavior that I need about 20 minutes to settle down, fiddling on my computer, checking Facebook etc., before I can really start to focus on the task at hand. Then I can remain focused for a good two hours before I need a break. BUT, if I get interrupted during that two hours then I need another 20 minutes of time to settle down again and get refocused. This points out the necessity of having, finding, MAKING sure that there are blocks of time during the day to really GET THINGS DONE. It’s an absolute imperative to have these blocks of uninterrupted time during the week to plow through the amount of work that seems to be coming in.
